Missions Opportunities at Christ the King

Christ the King is committed to supporting mission work at the local, national and international levels, both financially and through concrete action. Currently our focus is on these projects.

• Christ the King Food Pantry
• Turning Point Ministries, Mount Clemens, Mich.
• Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots
• In addition, our Sunday School, Youth Group, Preschool and Vacation Bible School work on one or two mission projects every year. 
• Our Women’s Guild is also active in knitting baby caps for St. John Hospital; collecting gently used infant clothing for the Lutheran Women’s
• Missionary League infant layette initiative; collecting nonprescription eyeglasses for the LWML; and collecting used Bibles for donation to Detroit Missions.
