Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 10th for the Spring Mom-to-Mom Sale at Christ the King.  The sale starts at 9:30 am and goes to 1:30 pm.

It’s already time to start recruiting students for our 2012-2013 school year. Please inform anyone who may be interested in our program that Open Registration will be held on Monday, February 6th. Please direct families to call our school for more information and/or to come in for a visit.

We made a commitment to sponsor LAMP Ministries over three years for $1000.  LAMP is the Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots, an organization that provides a ministry to people in the remote parts of Alaska and Canada.  In order to help fulfill our commitment we are holding a specail spaghetti dinner fundraiser after our late service on Fenruary 26th.  Please plan to come and fellowship with us and help us meet our mission goals to spread the Gospel to people everywhere. Spaghetti, salad, bread and desert will be our fare.

The Preschool is selling tickets for a full car wash at Mr. C’s Car Wash. Tickets are $14.00 and half of that money goes to the Preschool! These make great gifts and stocking stuffers. Vouchers are available from the Church Office, the Preschool or call Sharon Ziegler at 313-884-5998 to request an order. Thank you! Cash or checks made payable to Christ the King Lutheran Church will be accepted.
