FUNDRAISERS & EVENTS
BURGER KING FUNDRAISER NIGHT: Christ the King Preschool is participating in a fundraiser that is simple to do and fun for everyone! Just by eating at Burger King (on Harper between 9 and 10 mile) on the second Monday of the month between the hours of 4:00- 8:00 p.m., our preschool receives 15% of the receipts dropped in the designated Christ the King Preschool bucket. Mark your calendars for February 11, March 10, April 14 and May 12 to eat at Burger King and drop your receipt in our bucket! If you prefer to use the drive thru window, just ask the cashier to put your receipt in our bucket. We hope to see you there!
KROGER CARD TUITION REBATE PROGRAM:
Use your Christ the King issued Kroger Card and 2% of your re-load receipts will go towards your child’s preschool tuition (3% of your re-load receipts go to the Preschool). Click here for further details. We’ve had wonderful participation so far and we thank you for your continued support!
MOM’S DAY OUT:
We are continuing our Mom’s Day Out every second Friday of the month, through May. Click here for further details.
ST. JUDE TRIKE-A-THON:
This special event is designed to expose preschoolers (our 4 year old classes and Young 5's class) to using trikes and bikes safely while raising money to help sick children at St. Jude’s children’s hospital. On WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, the children will bring their bike and helmet to school (whatever they are comfortable riding). We will ride laps in the large auditorium for a half hour during the school day. Our morning class will ride from 10:30 – 11:00 and our afternoon class will ride from 2:15-2:45. Parents are encouraged and welcome to cheer them on. A pledge form with a permission slip has been sent home with each child. Please ask friends and family to make a flat donation to benefit the children at St. Jude’s (Please note that we do not count laps). This is a fantastic learning experience for the children. It not only allows them to learn about bicycle safety, but most importantly, by using their healthy bodies, they can help children who are not healthy!
"SOCK IT TO ME!" SOCK SALE
It's time to sell Socks!!! That's right, Socks!!!! Everyone wears Socks!!!
Beginning April 7th, Christ the King Preschool will launch our first sock fundraiser. The Sock Fundraising Company (www.EverybodyWearsSocks.com) offers great quality and variety of socks for children, men and women at a low price. With your help we can raise money for our Preschool. Order forms have been sent home with your child. Socks are $15 for 3, 4, or 5 pair packages (no sales tax). Our preschool earns $6.00 for every package sold. Order forms and checks are to be turned in to your child's teacher no later than Friday, April 17th. Please issue ONE check for all your orders made payable to "Christ the King Preschool."
