Christ the King Lutheran Preschool can offer your child a unique, Christian preschool experience. God has given us children as very special gifts. Our curriculum and equipment have been chosen to meet each child’s individual needs.
We hope to help each child in our preschool grow at his/her unique capacity and ability according to God’s talents. Our program includes spiritual growth, social development, reading readiness, and positive self concept for the preschooler. A typical day would include daily “Jesus time,” songs, finger plays and stories. Our large auditorium gives the children space to romp and develop their large motor coordination. “Group time,” which usually is theme driven, may include colors, shapes, and share time for three year olds and a letter-a-week for our four and five year olds. “Center time,” which includes puzzles, books, manipulatives, and dress-up, gives the child some independence to choose part of his/her day’s activities. Our four and five year olds also participate in field trips related to the current theme.
