KROGER CARD TUITION REBATE PROGRAM:
1. Purchase Kroger gift cards from your child’s teacher. You can purchase cards for yourself, family and friends. These Kroger cards are $5.00 (which is automatically loaded onto each card.) The card number on each gift card will be recorded under your child’s name for our record keeping.
2. At Kroger, “re-load” your card with any dollar amount you choose to cover the cost of your groceries. You can pay with cash, credit card or check. (Keep in mind, money on your card is just like cash, so make sure you are careful with your card). “Re-loading” your card is done at customer service, although some Kroger stores allow you to “re-load” it at the checkout line prior to ringing up your groceries. Check with specific stores for their policy.
You will receive a separate receipt when you “re-load” the card (the last four digits of your Kroger card number will be on this receipt.)
3. Use your Kroger card to purchase your groceries. When your card is empty, repeat step 2. The same card is used over and over. It’s that simple!
4. By the 15th of each month during the school year, place only your “re-load” receipts (not the grocery bills) in an envelope with your child’s name on it and put the envelope in the Kroger Card box located in you child’s classroom. Only original receipts will be accepted. You may continue to collect your re-load receipts throughout the summer months and turn them in the first week of September, when school starts.
***Two percent of all your submitted receipts will be recorded and added up. Your total from the receipts received from September through March will be deducted from April’s tuition payment. (If 2% of all your receipts are more than April’s tuition payment, deductions will be taken from your March payment, and so forth.) In March you will receive notice as to what your child’s adjusted tuition will be.
Your total from the receipts received from March through August will be deducted from October’s tuition payment. (If 2% of all your receipts are more than October’s tuition payment, deductions will be applied to your November payment, and so forth.) By October 1st, you will receive notice as to what your child’s adjusted tuition will be for that month.
(Please note: If you have paid your child’s tuition in full, you can still take part in this program. A rebate check will be given to you at the end of the year.)
****Christ the King Preschool will offer this rebate program for as long as Kroger continues the Neighborhood Reward Program. ****
