TEACHERS
Sharon Ziegler 
Ms. Ziegler is the Director of Christ the King Preschool and teaches both 3 year-old and 4 year-old classes. She graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska where she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Development concentration. She has 12 years of teaching experience and began as teacher and director at Christ the King in 2001. Ms. Ziegler has three daughters and is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fraser. Jill Farrar 
Ms. Farrar teaches 3 year-old and 4 year-old classes, as well as the Young Fives class. She graduated from WCCD with an Associate Degree in Elementary Education and obtained her B.S. in Elementary Education from Wayne State University. Presently, she is working toward her master’s degree in Early Childhood Development at Wayne State University. TEACHER AIDES
Julie Bohannon 
Mrs. Bohannon has a B.A. degree from Central Michigan University. She has been with Christ the King Preschool for 8 years and works in Ms. Ziegler’s 4 year-old classrooms. She also holds multiple volunteer positions through the Grosse Pointe public schools. Mrs. Bohannon is a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, is married and has two children — a sophomore at Grand Valley State University and a senior at Grosse Pointe North.
Nancy Burns 
Mrs. Burns has a teaching degree from Oakland University. She taught for five years in the Chippewa Valley School System. The 2007-08 school year marks her 19th year with Christ the King Preschool. She works with all of Ms. Ziegler’s classes. Ms. Burns is married with two grown children.
Elizabeth Holm 
Mrs. Holm has a design degree from Southern Illinois University. This is her 5th year at Christ the King. She works in Ms. Ziegler’s 3 year-old morning class and Ms. Farrar’s 4 year-old morning class. Mrs. Holm is married with three children — a junior at Michigan State University, a senior at Grosse Pointe South and a 7th grader at Brownell Middle School.
Joni Neveux 
Mrs. Neveux is a life long “Grosse Pointer,” graduating from Grosse Pointe North High School. She has extensive experience working with preschoolers, as she was on the preschool staff at St. Michael’s and St. Paul’s prior to her working at Christ the King. She has been with Christ the King Preschool for 7 years and works with all of Ms. Farrar’s classes. Mrs. Neveux holds various volunteer positions and is a “room mom” in the Grosse Pointe Public Schools. She has been married for 31 years and has two grown children and a 7th grader at Brownell Middle School (a former Christ the King Preschool student).
Pat Steinkampf 
Mrs. Steinkampf has a teaching degree in elementary education with a Master’s Degree in Reading from Michigan State University. She taught six years in Algonac at the elementary grade level. This is her 6th year at Christ the King Preschool. She works in Ms. Ziegler’s 3 year-old afternoon class. She also works part-time as an ESL (English as a Second Language) Assistant in the Grosse Pointe public schools and is the Sunday school teacher for 5 year-olds at her church. Mrs. Steinkampf is married with three children - a student at Baker College, a freshman at Michigan State University, and a 5th grader at Poupard.
